SHIP'S HISTORY
The USS Candor is part of STARFLEET International, the longest running Star Trek fan club. We are a newly established ship that was officially launched on April 22nd, 2026. We are currently in our Shakedown Cruise, with the USS Destiny as our support ship. We reside in Region 5 and our home base is Portland, Oregon. The USS Candor is also home to Special Operations Unit 304, "Iron Daedalus".

The name USS Candor was chosen to serve as both a tribute and a promise. Inspired by the Way of Absolute Candor from the Star Trek: Picard series, our namesake represents the profound strength found in total, unvarnished honesty.
In the Qowat Milat tradition, 'Absolute Candor' is the practice of sharing what is in one’s heart without filter or fear. We have brought this philosophy to our bridge and our corridors because we believe that transparency is the bedrock of a true community. By choosing to be open and truthful with one another, we strip away the barriers that hinder discovery and friendship.
The USS Candor is more than just a ship; it is a sanctuary where every member can thrive. We are dedicated to ensuring that every voyage is defined by joy, inclusivity, and the camaraderie that comes naturally when a crew operates with a singular, honest heartbeat. As we sail into the stars, let us do so with open minds and open hearts.
